Gorda rocks, but not for this storm.

The best local surf will be Thursday and maybe Sunday.... (I'll be hitting G-town at day break Thursday)... The swell will fill in through the day but also get choppier through the day. Friday wil be a blown out mess with 35 mph+ onshore winds and tides will be 2-4ft above normal and rising through the day.

I'm not exactly sure what jetty I'll be at, but if you see a white Nissan Titan 4 door with an OBX (Outer Banks) sticker on the back window, pull over and paddle out and say hi..... i'll be the one ripping.

Peeked out there this afternoon and nothing special yet. I believe it's gonna be very sloppy Thurs pm and opnly get uglier until the wind turns form the north. Hopefully we'll still have some swell when the wind slicks out the beach Sunday. I'll be on the Blue/Yellow long board around 91st.........

is it possible that they will not let anyone to go into galveston?
just wondering. the poopdeck is always open during the hurricane and the news seems to go there looking to interview the drunks that ride it out.
