I'm in...why don't we ride down barker cypress, fry or some other road that would be more direct to 290 and hwy 6? Just a thought...does not really matter to me

YES!!!

OK, starting from 290/1960 Shell (has a bigger parking lot), headed west and up to Yankees for lunch, about 86 miles

Back thru the Forest and down to Tomball 2920/249 about 70 miles.

This is a backwards forest ride...

Plenty of good roads if you've never been.

Plan on rolling out at 9 am, so be a bit early so we can get everyone on the same page. Riders meeting at 8:45, please top off your tanks when you get there.

Speed limit ride, ained at introducing newbies to these roads.

Imma try and get a new chain and sprockets in by Sunday, my current set up is a little worn.

EDIT: taking fry up to 290 would be my vote, its a pretty nice uneventful road.

About 150-160 miles from start point on 290 and 6. General route is backroads to Carlos and Yankees for lunch, then back down thru the Forest and a couple others. Official end is in Tomball at 149 and Hardin Store Rd... but people will be headed different directions from there.
