Aw , I managed to miss it. Just set the DVR to record it. It has potential, and since it's not on 2, 11, or 13 it might not even get screwed up like Jericho did.

I dunno, it's pretty bad, but i'm gonna watch a few more episodes to give it a chance.

As for the fairings....not my style. But apparently they're getting really popular in SoCal, hence the reason they're on the show. They appear to be Rifle Roadster fairings with the bubble shields on them. Rifle makes pretty high quality stuff, and has been around forever.

actually, after looking into it a little bit, it looks more like the arlen ness plain quarter fairing...minus the ghey paint job.

I'm not a fan of fairings on cruisers. Closest I'll get is a Buell flyscreen. Once I find a decent deal on an M2 screen, headlight, and brackets I'll put it on the Sporty.

It's a 2000-04 FXDXT (Dyna Super Glide Sport Touring)...... factory fairing and one of the few HD Dyna's to come from the factory with dual front discs and a blacked-out motor. They run circles around other HD's and had a factory lean angle of 38%..... naturally nobody bought a Harley to actually corner and they were discontinued in '06. They are still the favorite of many "old skool" bikers....

yeah, it's an fxdxt, but not the factory fairing. and the chrome side covers and rockers have been replaced with later model tc covers. the saddlebag mounts and relocated rear signals give it away.

and the 06+ dynas are much better bikes now that they redesigned the frame. many say they even handle better than the fxr after you replace the rear shocks.

Well, the mini apes are gonna be bigger shortly. Decided to go with 16" apes from Flyrite. The flyscreen is small enough that it'll mostly just hide wiring. Besides, it'll match the motor Basically I'll have a Buell S2 motor in a week or two. Only functional difference is the cams, which should have been here by now.

I'm going for black everything. Just painted the front fender, now I'm in the process of steel wooling it. Winds up looking like leather, but I spend a week picking bits of steel out of my hands. I may wind up picking up some 1" od 4130 tubing and just weld up some bars.

Watched the 2nd episode tonight, and I gotta say that I like it for the most part. Peggy Bundy is irritating, but that just means she's playing her part well. She makes me want to drop kick her across the parking lot.
