Hurricane bike shelter

I saw a mention of this on another site. IF this (or any other) hurricane comes into the Houston area, who has spare garage space to help store some bikes out of harms way? I can squeeze another 3 or 4 in my garage in Cypress. I think it's a good idea to get these things sorted out ahead of time...just in case.

I started a new profile because I can't post this from my reg. name - plz don't ban me -

If need be, you can park in the Texas Medical Center

Look up garage 15 - it's at the corner of Bertner and Moursund

6550 Bertner to be exact.

You can ride around the parking barrier and park for free for as long as you need.

Go to the fifth floor and park.

It's pretty secure, cameras on every level and patrolled by security.

No wind or rain. There are places to lock your ish up as well.

+1....I'll be waiting last minute to hit the road, and if I do (which it must be a cat 4 and heading straight at us) I'll load up a backpack, throw my wife on the back and hit the road. I don't care if the bike I ain't street legal...it has headlights and tail lights and easily avoids the massive rush out of town.

Well, it may not help to much, but I can keep 4 or 5 in my garage....I live in clear lake tho. I will be glad to let anyone use the garage who needs it, If it helps any..I work in law enforcement and I wont be leaving no matter what, plus you can be sure my garage wont be broken into, I live very close to my station!!!
