Talking !!!!KOMODO WENT DIRECT!!!!

I don't know how many of you already know this but I just found out the other day. Komodo Gear has gone direct. What this means is that now because there is no middle man they have lowered prices for us. Example a pair of FX gloves that used to cost 249 is now 189!

Also they have introduced a new line for street riders with the same quality level called Furious!

Havent really heard alot about this company. This company isnt very commercial ?idk... I say that because Im woundering the quality and durability.

I want to start doing track days and Im starting from zero... So are these equal to A*Star or Teknic?

Nice to see a drop in pricing, but I'll still give my business to someone local who can beat those figures.

Marketing....

A few days at the track or a CMRA/WERA event and you will see a great deal of this brand in my opinion.

Going to be somewhat of a personal preference though since fit and function will be different between most brands.

Komodo does make good gear! I've "field tested" Komodo's gear and it is good stuff.

But you will want to try it on. If you have a stocky build you may find the legs a bit long and the knee placement a little low.

Komodo is the standard to compare to when it comes to their suits, not A-star, not Joe Rocket, not Teknic, etc. I just wish I was going to stay with racing and trackdays to get their new stuff.

I have worn three or four different suites now. I have a custom suite made by Komodo. I am a weird size though, LOL. I know these guys personally too. They fit better than anything else on the market as far as I am conserned. Also I had the chance to "field test" the stuff as well. I went down between 100 and 110 at Barber and didn't have a scratch on my body and the suite will be useable again. Now I do have a broken ankle but that is because I was hit in my ankle. It was broken long before I hit the ground. As far as pricing goes, if you are looking for quality, something that you can go down in more than once, and great customer service then Komodo is your answer.

Most of the time if you go to CMRA or CCS South races you will see Komodo track side. This year has been a little different they tried to sub that out and the customer service was not where they felt it needed to be so you can count on someone who works for Komodo being there next season.
