Question Hong Kong plastics???

i've been thinking about painting my bike but want to take off and keep the original plastics and tank. does anyone have any experience or input regarding the plastics that can be bought on e-bay from Hong Kong? are they identical in weight/thickness ect. as the OEM plastics? i have found complete sets of these plastics for like $350 - is that a good deal?

any feed back is greatly appreciated.

I have seen several. It looks good at a distance but can't match the quality of fitment of an OEM.

I bought mine for my 02 GSXR 750 and they fit just fine. They look pretty good and I cant complain, seeing as how you can pay the same amount for a single piece of OEM as you pay for the entire set from them.

I've seen Mikes plenty of times up close. They look good, and he said they fit really well with minimal effort to get them on correctly.

Then again there are people with complete horror stories about them.

Mine arent too bad they look purdy nice and fit took a little effort and a couple hours total, mine were $40 + $220 shipping and had them in like 2 weeks, nice suprise, they told me to expect at least a month, if U get them I would suggest have someone with experience install them

i got some from ebay a while ago, they got here in a week, fit was okay. total price was 500 shipped if i remember correctly, they were for an 03 cbr600rr. i was impressed by how fast they got here though lol, too bad the box didn't fit in my car and i had to sit there for 30 min to rip it open and individually place things around my car.

For 750 you can have attacks in your door. www.attackperformance.com they are suppose to be very good.
