if your putting in it on the strip then go 2 inches and hook the strap onthe front as well.

I see people use them both on and off the track. It will definately have an effect on the way the bike rides. It will be rough as if you leave them on for the street

Do not use the strap all of the time.
Also on the GSXR's you need to be careful how much you lower them so you don't have any component clearance issues, i.e. the shock reservoir hitting the top of the swingarm, the lower triple hitting the top of the fender, etc.

OH WELL I DONT WANT THAT I DONT THINK I NEED THEM A DROP WILL PROBABLY BE FINE BECUZ WHEN IM RIDIN I CAN STAB IT HARD IN FIRST AND IT DOESNT TRY TO COME UP AT ALL IT JUST GOES

if you want to take it to the strip every now and then, just use a strap when on the track, its cheap and quick to do.

I mean, come on, its a 600...lol

The strap bolts to the top of each caliper bolt and is eccentially a tie down strap. you can loosen it for street riding but I'd recommend just installing it when you get to the track so you dont have clearance problems nor a strap flapping around.

If you keep it tight on the streets it will also limit your ability to turn the rack as well.

i lowered my fz1 last week. easy. get the dogbone u want and u can come by and we can do it in about 30 minutes. in cypress

Dog bones just drop the rear.
You'll want to lower the front too
You may also need to cut the kickstand as well.
