Bike(s):
03 600rr--> sold

battery issues???

does it gives problems when the battery is going???

my bike (03 600rr) every now and then that red light on the cluster would come up blink twice like 5 times and then the bike would die, but that would do it only everynow and then....but like a month ago i left the key on....and it dryed the battery so i never had the time to jump start it till last night...

i did it and i took the cables off and like 10 seconds later the bike turned off i was like WTF!!!!

so i did it again a couple times until it stayed on...took it for a spin around the block and i couldnt get it to ride smooth it was like a wild horse , jumping and shait so it died again and i had to push it to the house.

all this...could it be caused by the battery???

please help me ppl

Drain the battery and let it sit for a month... You can be pretty sure that battery is beyond dead.

I assume that by 'dryed the battery' you actually meant drained the battery. If you do that and leave it sitting for an extended period of time like a month the battery will be useless. If you drain it you need to recharge it and not let it sit.

Most motorcycles require a battery that has some charge capacity in order to create a field for the alternator or starternator to produce enough electrical power to run the engine electronics properly. A dead battery will cause the bike to not run or run rough.
