He was doing ok when I dropped him off on the north side of Angleton; he cleaned up his rash at the house after we unloaded his bike. Said he was stiffening up some, but the rash was the only injury. I didn't catch his handle either.

He said that after making the turn, when he started accelerating the bike took off and shot up, dumping him. He was unsure exactly why it happened.

So I guess yeah, he looped it.

BTW I gave him my cell phone number to let me know when he wants to come get his bike, if I hear from him before he posts, I'll let everyone know how he's doing. Like a dummy, I didn't think to get his number.

Thanks, but as you say

It just happened that we were in my neck of the woods this time-I live two traffic lights away from where he went down. There were plenty of people there that would have done the same. It was awesome riding up (I was at the back of the line) and see people already taking care of him and making sure he was alright. I've been on the other side at TWS (Texas World Speedway), with people helping me load my bike up after a lowside, and I know what a difference support makes. That's why I love the motorcycle community.

I do hope to stay long enough to meet more than five people on the next ride though.
