I'm trying to get in another track day or two before the end of the year, and they way our schedule is, this will have to be one of them?

So for a n00b who has only done two track days what do you guys think?

It's either this or I've been invited on a trip to ride the 3 sisters with a bunch of cruiser guys from our church.
GSS is the only track I've been on, but I've been there 3 times. It's a fun track. You won't see high speeds, but it really rewards good lines and smooth riding. I can't imagine why you wouldn't enjoy it, unless you just have to go 150 mph to have fun.

I'm on an SV, I don't go 150 at TWS (Texas World Speedway), heck I barley get past 120

I've all but totally decided to do the track day, so this brings up another question. given the size should i change my gearing a little, or not mess with it?

Don't mess with it. Until you've been there, you have no idea what gearing your style/experience/bravery will require.

I ride an SV also, with stock gearing. My first day there, also my first track day ever, I rode the entire day in 3rd gear. Gave up some exit speed of course, and by the end of the day I occasionally hit the rev limiter on the front straight. But it was perfect for a newby; no shifting just means more concentration to expend on other things.
