The lame bike search. Help me find a new bike and winzorz!

I finally got some money coming my way for a new bike.
Thus I am selling my Ninja 250 and am in need of a new pony.

My problem is that I have no idea what I want. And I am very picky.

Criteria for my next bike:

Must be faster and more comfortable than my 250. I don't want OMGWTFBBQ super sport fast, just enough to put a smile on my face.

Must be able to tour some. I want to be able to throw some bags of panniers and go long distance whenever I want to.

Parts must be readily available and the bike itself should not be too hard to fix. Meaning that a Norton would not work.

Must be sporty/sexy/appealing. I like sport and standard bikes such as the SV650 but no cruisers or choppers. Dual sport is OK.

Must be under $4009.18

I have looked for some F4i's but those are usually with a lot of miles or have been "

Now the winzorz part:

If you find/suggest a bike that I end up buying, you will win a FREE oil change at Motorcycles Unlimited.

if u want something comfortable go with a katana. they are faster than your 250 and a very comfortable ride for cruising. and you could find a nice one for under $4009.18

suzuki bandit 1200s. you might have to throw a touch more than your specified amount but it will be worth it. they also make a 600. but if you really want to go anywhere on it i would recomend the 1200.

I am looking in the Houston area right now. I don't want to drive all the way to Austin or Dallas just to see a bike that I might buy.

Ok so far I have tried an F4i and a CBR600RR.

And neither is comfortable enough for long trips. Any suggestions?
