So very new on here and new at riding...

Hey every1 just coming thru to post a new thread to tell every1 hello and dont be harsh on me please i am very new on here and soooooo very new at riding...i just took my class last weekend and my stupid fell in the dayum class jammed my thumb and next morning my whole right side was sore ...Dont have a byke yet but plan on getting 1 soon...What will be a good starter byke? I am looking at a katana 6 or 750 or a yamaha yzf...at least if i drop those i wont feel bad...

Welcome to MH! Maybe you should start on something even smaller? Like a 250. At least when you drop it, it'll cost less to replace.

Thank you all...and for buuying a 250 OH NO...NOW u Kno I will Get Talked about...sad to say thats what the i fell on LMAO...and for buying the 900 what are you trying to do send me to see jesus feet sooner than i think...mayb when i master my 600 or 750 that will be my next move...

a 600 will kill you just as fast as a 900


I dont think you really understand the power these bikes posess... 250'/500's included.

why not at least check it out?

btw, the katanas are REAL heavy...a new rider is more comfortable on a LIGHT bike...hence another reason we all suggest a 250 for your FIRST(won be your last) bike.

true... in the first few months I dropped my bike nearly every time I rode. Thank it wasn't too heavy for me to pick up by myself.

Yes. I commute on it daily to downtown (that is when it's not leaking exhaust). It gets 70 miles per gallon- another plus on a smaller bike!

i loved my 250 and i got nothing but compliments...experienced riders liked the look and non-riders liked the name "ninja"
