DC,

You know now it is harder to have a ticket dismissed due to the fact they are electronic now. Once they enter the info inthe system it goes straight in to the dept. Not a ticke where they were turned in at the end of shift. I dont know if this is what you got but you might have to man up and try to get your M and get things done pretty fast. GL

Did he let you ride away??? They usually impound the bike and sometimes arrest you.

I got busted in NY for not having my bike license. I had the permit, and the test scheduled on Nov 15th in NY!!!! (Yes, it was COLD. 42 degrees and raining). They had no mercy and impounded my bike anyway. Lucky for me, the owner of the garage that towed/impounded the bike was like a 2nd father to me. An hour later I get a call "I've got your F'in bike in my driveway, come get the POS" I never paid a dime. $250 for the ticket, though. The F'ed up thing is that I knew the cops. They saw me standing on a porch talking with my helmet in my hand. One of the Aholes said "he doesnt have a bike license". They ran my name, found out I DIDNT have one, and waited down the street for me to get on. He then tells me "sucks for you. I've been riding over 30 years without a bike endorsement".

did you take the first half before you got the ticket? If you were and you can prove that to the judge maybe they will let you off since it was "in progress"

How many of you who are telling this guy to 'man up' and take it like a man, have ever tried to get a ticket dismissed?

Always tell our children to admit when they are wrong and take their due punishment.....but let some people get a ticket and watch them hoot and holler about trying to get out of it or get it dismissed.

Really? Cops always let me off, and I'm RARELY pulled over. . . though this weekend I was pulled over twice.
