Thust bearings for Crankshaft...

I'm reassembling the crank case and I have somehow mixed up the thrust washers for the crank. According to the manual I need to push the crank all the way to the left(tward the flywheel) and check the clearance with a feeler guage. I belive the spec is .050mm but my guages only go down to .090mm and that does not fit so it should be within spec. The Total end play is in spec reguardless of which way I put them in. Does it make a difference if theyre not in same before they came out even if they are of slightly different thickness?
