new rider

I am looking for a good starter bike and i am just trying to find out what would be a good bike to start on. Anybody got some ideas?

Busa isn't a bad starter bike. I mean, since you're a big guy, wanna make sure you have plenty of power.

I can't imagine ever doing less then 160 myself. Where's the fun in that?

oh, seriously though. Might look at a 700ish cruiser also. Those are pretty easy to learn on.

Welcome to the family!

If you feel you want to skip the 250 for a larger bike, there are cross over bikes(sport touring) that have the sportbike look/bit of feel and still offer a heavier frame and less hp. Katana or yamaha has the fzr(i think? or am I wrong?)

Its a long-debated topic but remember your first will definitely not be your last bike, I assure you.
