Lightbulb So what do you say when someone asks to ride ur Bike??

Im pretty sure ALL of us at one point in time have been asked by someone to ride our bike! I dont know about yall, but I HATE THAT!! It seems like about once a week im being asked by sumbody!! I personally think its rude of sumone to ask such a thing!! lol! I say everything from; "I dont have insurance" to "Its not running correctly right now!" lol Sometimes that doesnt work, and i jus simply say NO!! I mean anything can happen at ANY speed, so ur always taking a chance if u let them ride it. I jus personally dont like sumone "Playing with my toys" (No ) lol! I dont like to share!! HA!! So what do you tell people?? Do you let them, or do u have a solid NO!! statement?!

I have a few good friends who have bikes, and we ride each others all the time. but they are insured, and close friends. other people I don't know WELL, they get told NO. end of story, no bickering about it.

Here's the keys

Unless I dont trust them and dont have the keys to their bike.

Most when offered after asking, dont actually wanna sit on it. Go figure. Once reality kicks in, they're all talk.

just some random person... NO

but I have been on rides where someone is like "man, that bike seems pretty sweet" or "how does it handle" etc..

I have swapped bikes with people on rides (of course, not if they are some 'noticable' squid)

but I don't loan my bikes out for people to borrow...

I think it would just depend on the situation and who was asking...

If it's someone I know, and I know they care of their , I have no problem with. Well, I let Cody ride it once in a parking lot. . . the one exception to my rule.
