That looks pretty cool, but also seems it would get very boring after a week or 2? Might be fun for a long straight highway cruise but looks like it would suck on some twisties.(probably more dangerous than a 2 wheel bike!) good luck doing a panic maneuver on that thing!

actually they make snowmobiles....and when you work on the Spyder you can see how easily the snowmobile was converted into that. it is rear wheel drive and can spin that back tire very easily.

I agree its no motorcycle though its still really ****ing cool, but I personally can see better ways to spend $17k.

i'de have to agree with 8abusa....I'm putin my cash on him out-running you on that thing. a 950cc rotary motor.....corners might be a lil different but the 165mph top end will definatly make up for it. I talked to a guy not to long ago that has one and he loves it....."burn-out king" I think is what he said

Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-

How is his reasoning all wrong then? As you stated he might be able to convince your sister, his wife(?) it's safer. Have you considered he might be right?
Have you actually done any research on the thing at all?

What next, wanna slam quad riders too? <shrug>

Try seeing it and understanding it from his point of view instead of your own and grow up a bit.

The Spyder is badarse man...let him sport it...guarantee he'll get more looks and people will dig it. If he doesn't like it, he can return it later, right? Just my .02.
