looking for dot take-offs

Anybody got a set of DOT take-offs for and SV650? I want to see what it's like to run on sticky rubber. Would like to get at least one day out of them. 120/160

I've got some 090's, but I'd PM John and see what he has of the new SV tire for take offs if you want to try them out.

Thanks Jason. I went out there with two goals: 1) line consistency 2) body position. I think it worked out well. I saw the pics you posted and they look great. Can't wait to see the rest. There was one where I waved and ended up running wide to the point of almost going off the track lol

Thanks! What would be a good front to use w/ the Supercorsa III? Obviously another Supercorsa III but if I can't get my hands on one for cheap what then?
If you're going to be at TWS (Texas World Speedway) with LSTD later this month, I could get it from you then...

I have seen some folks do this mod, but imho, it's the most un-necessary thing to do for an SV. Not to mention the negative affect it has on your cornering.

The tires that are out there from Pirelli, Michelin and BRIDGESTONE are great tires, and you won't see any real advantage to getting a wider wheel.

But what do I know, I've only been racing on them for 4 or 5 years on these bikes...

Mike, you can have them, just come by the house one day and we'll bust 'em off the wheels for ya.

Thanks for the offer but I'll pass. Thought about doing the F3 wheel swap but when I found out that the wider tire doesn't help I decided to stick with the factory wheels.

if they're cheap I might take a set off your hands too [only if you have several, I don't want to take some mike was planning on getting]

since my bike also does cummting duty, I'm thinking I may start looking for an extra set of wheels off ebay or something to have a set of track tires and street tires I can easily swap between. so if anyone knows where I can find some SV wheel free or cheap let me know
