I would but my rear seat is filled.

I'll PM some individuals that I'd personally recommend and see what they think. Keep posted....

i don't know yet if my own wife is going or not, but if not, i might have an open seat. don't know how i'd feel yet about having an unfamiliar passenger though, as my wife's the only one i've ever ridden with.

dimensions...are you f'ing kidding me.
so what your saying is that you have never had a passenger before huh? if they are tall ya'll can bump helment and I hate that if they are short you barely feel them back there and yes weight passenger weight dictates how much PSI is in your rear tire you may have to make adjustments I weigh 215

Melissa is about 5'5" and (dare I say) roughly 150#. She's never been a passenger but I've been explaining to her how to act and she thinks she will do fine. Actually, she's never even been on a bike so this would be a great introduction to bikes for her. I know that sounds sketchy but she's a real level headed girl and never takes on something she honestly doesn't think she can handle.

We have plans for Sunday, not Saturday. Scott works on Sat, don't know about Chad.

I haven't decided if I was gonna go on the ride or not. If you don't find someone let me know. Just a warning, the R1 is not very comfortable as a passenger.

Do you have gear for her?

For those who dont ride two up....

A passenger w plant the rear end, depending on weight you may need to adjust for a passenger over 150, especially on a lighter 600 etc. this improves cornering strengths and althought he bike will lose acceleration cornering effort will decrease due to the increase in higher center of gravity. However, every movement of a passenger will be felt on the ride, even moving their knee.

Its very uncomfortable for the passenger but its best they hold on around your torso, locking their hands together. During braking, hands on the gas tank. Otherwise, they aren't holding on on acceleration and aren't uniform or 'glued' to the rider. You will have alot more weight on your hands because of them.

Common checks: increase rear air pressure a couple psi, increase springrate and on lowered bikes, dampening.

It takes time to get use to it but there's nothing funner then outcornering peeps w a good passenger fyi...
