Devils Backbone is basically on RR32 on the Blanco side of the RR12/RR32 junction. If you want a direct route, head to Dripping Sprigs (290) and hang a left on RR12. Take that all the way until it hits a T where RR12 continues to the left and RR32 goes to the right towards Blanco. Take a right.... A few miles down the road, you'll see a bar on the left (white bldg, Rileys on the Backbone) - that starts the 'bone. You'll know when it ends...

Total length maybe 5 miles of "decent" curves.

In my opinion the view is well worth the trip. I love it.

I personally think that there are far better roads in the area. DB isn't that great. It is about the same as Memorial or Allen Parkway just longer.

It has a good view from the top of the ridge, but yes.... there are much better roads around there, and the DB gets a lot of hardleys on the weekends.

I'd heard so much about it I added it to the route when we went to the Sisters last year, but next trip I'll go a different route.
