I really like the new 250's. Are they as terrible as the older ones in regards to highway stability? Mine shakes like crackhead looking for a hit whenever I'm going 80+ mph. I have to tuck completely in order to get it to stop, crazy !

my 08 handle much better than my 07 did, i think it has something to do with the larger tires and the new design is very aerodinamic, I sliced through the wind going out to the track and never had the tremble that i had with my 07.

I had a N250 pass by while I was getting gas. It had a loud pipe on it. I swear I thought a YZ400 with a big gun was coming.

Hmmm. I ride an 07. Would love the newer, but can't justify with price difference right now.... ok. I maybe would have agreed, if you compare to some nice "sportbike".... but do you ride highway a lot? I ride daily on the Beltway, wind buffeting is bad when tall if you don't tuck over 70ish, but its not the bike. Maybe a bike issue. The bike is really quite stable. The faster you go , the more it takes to unsettle it. Never noticed this? I can take 80-90 mph with no issue, sure its whining, but i'm not shaking... You might need to check something out. Its a good bike!

Not to be a , BUT for the sake of argument... i'd have to dispute that the new "aerodynamic" design makes much of a difference beside looks. Sure, if you had a 1000cc and going 190 mph every little curve could make a difference in improving.... but with the power and HP of a 250, it could be close to a triangle, and I'd dispute that it would make MUCH of a difference.

I love the new look, and if they had had it out when I bought my 250, i might have spent the extra 1500, but from the postings I've gathered from the ninja250.com group, there are some downsides to the new one, some great stuff, but its not a revolution, more of just a nice overhaul on the basics.

Not to say I'm not jealous.....

after riding an 07 and 08 back to back I have to argue that there is for sure something about the aerodynamics that makes a difference. the 08 does feel a lot more stable at higher speeds to me, well at least in the 70-80 range, i cannot go too fast since they are not my bikes.

I totally agree, I know the wider rear tire has alot to do with it but there was more drag on my 07 than on my 08
