CHAIN AND SPROCKET

i have a SPROCKET SPECIALISTS, alum 44t 525 rear sprocket and it looks to me that it is a bit worn, not sure how many miles is on it but its getting somewhat pointed at the end of the teath!

so should i replace it or what how do you know for sure you chain and sprockets need replaceing?

i can get a vortex 520 convertion kit off the net for about 160 , 16f, 44r , all new chain and masterlink.

should i do it!

Pull on the chain from the rear of the wheel, if it moves out to where you can see 1/2 of a tooth, replace it.

replace it all with steel 530, and no vortex.........
you dont want aluminum on twins. Youll be changinig sprockets like candy.
i would suggest D.I.D. or R.K. x ring chain and stick with the SS steel sprockets

anyone got a chain rivit tool i can use , would be aweek or so befor i need it !

Vortex sprockets SUCK, period!

Anytime you'd like come by, I've got at least 6 or 7 of them hanging up in the back that are trash, all with less than 5000 miles on them.

Of the 2 you put up I'd go with the Drive Systems setup.
