Walk up to a cop and tell him "I don't want to see you do that again, punk". See what he thinks about it.

I know. But Racer X's mental process works entirely on hypotheticals so I have to entertain some of them in order for him to understand my POV.

I still haven't seen an answer to post #83 from him.

I still love you though, Ed. (I'm not "in" love with you though).

Id rather a cop warn me than ticket me.

Ive been yelled at by professionals that would make a cop seem like Nanny 911....I can take some city cop at me.

What I dont need is a ticket.

I hear ya. I've been bitched at by cops too and I laugh it off.

But, the discussion is about abuse of the badge.

Ive never known a cop not to abuse it in some form and fashion.

But then again, Ive never really known anyone with power to not abuse to it some degree.

knows I did overseas and still do to this day.

Human nature and all of that.

I doubt that police policy includes insulting civilians. Would you concur? If you can find it in the HPD handbook I'll buy you a a dozen jelly donuts.

All said I doubt his supervisor would be to happy. Apart from that I would have to do some research but it is leagal to pass stopped traffic on a shoulder only if it can be done in a safe manner. No not flying down through traffic. Had the same situation. White impala comes on a loud speaker and tells me not to pass. I stopped to let jerk weed pull up next to me and tell me in person. He never did, I told him he was #1 and left him sitting there.
Disclaimer: This is not legal advice and should not be taken as such and all that other retarded lawyer talk to compensate the ignorant.
