The garage gate arm clothes-lined me at work on my R6 several years ago. I didn't go down (wooden arm hit my helmet and broke) and just wanted them to replace my Arai helmet but they were dragging their feet so I hired a lawyer.

You have historical with Merrill? I had him for two classes so far, and I tutor it. Also, if you LIKE geology, I'm the geo club president. We are always interested in more people in our research class, too- you get science credit and PAID!
I had Merril in '01. He was one of the best profs that I had there. I took both of his geo classes and joined the geology club. I did a trip to Llano with them and we had a blast, 1st and only time a professor bought me a beer. Some of those sites we had access to were on private land and the owners were quite old back then, I hope he still has access.

Yep! I like him a lot, too. We are supposed to go to Llano this year with the Stratigraphy class- UH-D is trying to get going with a geology degree program. We still go to the Brewery Tap! You should come by and say hi to him. He had a very serious fight with cancer last year and he was out for the second half of the fall semester. He's getting around okay, though!

Sorry for the thread jack! And he wasn't saying anything about sushi- he was calling you a squid.
