scotts it adjustbale on the fly for slow or high speeds. ohlins is a good product too but more $$$.

whos said to drain the stock damper and add oil? i thought the oil in the dampers was closer to hydraulic than motor, lol

i think there was a memebe here that had a hypero and it went bad. just get the ohlins then. its tested and not that many people have had problems.

get taylor to finance the scotts for you.

Busas come with damper stock, so I can't tell you the before/after on the stocker. I've know guys that remove it and put the heavier oil in the stocker, and all have been satisfied with the results and the $$$ savings.

I bought an Ohlins top mount when I started my project bike and have since acquired a Scott's because of issues with the Ohlins fitting the top clamp. I like the quality of the Ohlins, but the Scott's isn't too bad either.

I'd try the oil change first before you go drop a few hundred $$$ that you could spend on another upgrade somewhere else on the bike. The worst that you're going to get out of that is an afternoon of working on your bike and a couple of dollars worth of oil. If you need I can find you a link for the instructions, lemme know.

SBN sorry I hadn't kept up with the thread. Here's the link I was telling you about, there's info on how someone did it on a Busa damper but you'll get the idea. Hope that helps.
