Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-

you know you commute daily on your bike in houston when you drop off your bike for the monthly oil change, and walk to the nearest pyschologist to deal with the stress of moronic drivers.

You know commute daily on your bike in houston when lane splitting helps reduce your body temperature from 108 degrees to 107.5.

You know you commute daily in houston on your bike when you get excited that the beltway only took you 45 minutes to get your home (and you paid $4+ to use it!, more than your gas for several days!)

I feel you as well.

I swear, the day will come when I will be selling motorcycle-mounted projectile launchers. And I am sure they will sell like hotcakes. Maybe then something will change.
