My cat took a whizz on my jacket a while back. I have washed it in the bathtub 2 different times with warm water and detergent. It didn't do much.

Maybe it's the acid rain in the local atmosphere, but after riding a couple of times in the pouring rain, it doesn't smell whatsoever. I let it hang on the shower curtain to dry.
So my answer is -- RIDE IN THE RAIN!!

ive washed mine several times in the washing maching with no problems. just put it on gentle cycle with cold water and youre all good.

mine says dont wash or dry clean but i pull the armor out and throw it in the wash no problems

Heres how i washed my jacket . Fill your tub up with hot water add detergent while the water is running & soak jacket for a couple of hours. Then rinse and hang out to dry .

Read the tag on the jacket, they all tell you how to wash them. Alpinestars says take out the armor and put it in the washer on cold.
