the "OH T" moment thread

You guys post some stories of your "OH " moments

mine:

One time we were ridin down 362 and we were actin like hooligans and doin wheelies and i was on my gixxer 600 and i had it up for a while and it came back too far. I went to go hit the brakes and they had faded out so my pedal just dropped and i was like "oh " and it came back, hit tail then slammed back down and i went over the bars then saved it

I know theres some better than mine.

Haha well my story kinda sounds like witch doctor's story. Cept i was goin over this hill at about a billion miles an hour and i come over the hill to see a school bus stopped unloading children. i was so scared, didnt crash but got sideways a lil.

Another one was when I was turning a corner getting use to the way my new suspension was set up and a whole truck load of gravel was lying in the road begging me to hit it....Well i hit it but i hit it straight on so i was ok, but still it was an " Oh-Chit" moment

A long time ago (in a galaxy far far away ) I was hauling azz on a back road in Richmond during the night. It was pitch black.

I was cooking along waaaay too fast and noticed some strange round dot reflections like fireflies up ahead... as I got closer, I noticed them blinking and that they were in pairs and there were lots of them... I sat up and noticed they were COWS about 100 yards ahead of me, going waaaay to fast, so I grabbed front brake and locked the rear and down shifted like a madman!

I stopped about 2 feet from one of the cows. They were everywhere, in the ditches, all across the road, it took me several minutes (after cleaning my shorts) to get through that traffic jam.

I don't think my heart rate fell below 200 for days later...

one time while working in river oaks, I took the bike to get lunch (i didn't put the helmet on ).......I didn't notice one of those manholes on the street that, I guess because it was a very old street, the manhole has risen over the street's level..I was doing about 40 mph. went over head on, the bike went airborne a few inches, and when it touched terra firma, it started to shake it's head so violently I almost chitted my underwear...to this day I don't know why I didn't eat pavement.

Came through a blind turn on CR337 "one of the twisted sisters" and washed out my front tire in some gravel and went 2 feet into the other lane. Kept her up though

MagicMan has the same story as he was behind me.

Oh and of course my first tank slapper on FM1462.

Oh yeah, well, this didn't really happen to me, but it was still like, "OH !".
Well, I went to get my haircut and forget my keys in the ignition (dumbass I be) and by the time I came back, my battery was DEAD!! Had my boy come over and attempt to push start it, you know, push it, hop on and pop the clutch? Well, he pushed it hard as , action movie star jumped on it and pulled the brake instead of the clutch. The bike literally flipped over him... if it wasn't for them big frame sliders I got, something would have gotten really jacked up on that bike. Oh yeah, my homeboy was okay too I guess... LMAO!!

Bottomed out my newly lowered bike on a speed bump, leaving a chillis restaurant, little did I know, I busted my oil pan drain plug!
Got to a red light & took off on green, sliding all over the intersection, (my Oh ) totally out of control! Somehow made it to a convience store parking lot, where the rest of the oil poured out! To this day I have know idea how I kept from laying the bike down!

Slowing down from 150 only to find a cop with his lights on right behind me.

watching the same cop with his gun out running across 45 after some bikers who decided not to stop.

Why would he have his gun out chasing bikers? Call me crazy, but he would have to be an idiot to fire his weapon from a moving vehicle at some bikers.

yeah to that! Especially if they are on CBR's. Bullets don't even begin to touch CBR's mane! You need like a rail gun (google it) to hit a CBR rider.
too bad for 'Busa riders, big bikes, kinda like shooting at a Geo Metro...
I kid I kid, me numbah one fun-eeee!

he wasn't in his car, he was running across 45. I didn't bother to ask him why.

Hmmm...still. Odds of him hitting a innocent civilian with a bullet are alot better than it hitting a speeding motorcyclist (even that is still stupid). And officers are held responsible for every round that leaves the chamber.
