Map of the Forest and Surrounding Areas

Hey, those that know me appreciate the I have the navigation skills of a poodle. I finally broke down and figured out how to make a good JPG map of the area we frequently ride, so I can't get lost.

I've heard other people asking "where is the forest" and other questions about our typical routes in the Northern area.

You can print this in the portrait orientation with shrink to fit and it's still quite readable. Thought some of you might find this map useful. Perhaps this would make a good sticky, so the new folks can find it too.

Notice I didn't mark any routes. I thought that would be a bad idea.

I was thinking the same but honestly, the forest is already very well known by the LEO's.

nice map there, all the country roads shown in that view are awesome. Should do a forest ride starting at 1488, and hitting up all those in the SW corner of that map, been out there many times and they are nice roads. Then could take 1488 all the way to the normal "forest" routes

noobs beware is no joke lol
I was supposed to ride with 4 other guys today and none of them made it so I went solo. 2 of the four have a LOT less time on the road then me and the other 2 I do not know. But 3090 was really beyond my skill, and the other guys, well I would be scared to take them there...

IMO going out there solo is a bad idea.

When I first got my bike about a year ago... I went down on 3090, There was a BIG white/black sign that said 3090 in the middle of the road. You can see it in the map even. watch out for those signs, they're every where.lol

Well .. I've been down the whole stretch this morning TWICE . It is ok if you a) know and b) don't try to set speed records. But yes, I agree if you're a noob it's a super bad idea to go down 3090 alone. But it's such a fun road
