Brake line help

So I change my brake lines to the galfer steel braided on my 06 R6 and the fronts are not pressurizing when I am bleeding the air out of the lines. I've bled them from the calipers but not the master cylinder. Should I be bleeding them from the master cyclinder too. I don't know why the brakes are not getting stiff.

you got to keep the handle squeezed while you open the drain and dont let the handle go till you close the drain.

Yep. I alternate back and forth. A few on the right a few on the left. If you kept the reservoir from completely empty I don't think there is usually a need to bleed the master.

+1 if you let off the handle before you close the nipple you just let air all back in the lines

here ya go...

fill the bleed container half way with fluid, run the hose from the bleeder screw into the fluid. Make sure the master cylinder reservoir is full and crack the bleeder screw just a little. Start pumping.

What this does is allow air to come out, and on each piston return, will help suck fluid in instead of air.

VS pumping, holding, and trying to compress air out of the whole system.

YOU CAN BUY A SPEEDY VALVE , IT HAS A BUILT IN CHECK VALVE, SO ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS OPEN THE LINE AND PUMP, NO AIR WILL SUCK BACK IN, ALSO GET A SMALL HOSE TO RUN FROM THE FITTING TO A CONTAINER SO NOT TO GET FLUID ALL OVER !

I KNOW HILO SELLS THEM NOT SURE IF THEY HAVE THE SIZE YOU NEED BUT IT WILL REPLACE THE FITTING ALL TO GETHER , LOOKS THE SAME EX!

+1 to the above comments. Remember brake fluid will eat away at paint.
