What do you guys think?

So I'm lookin' for racing bodywork and it seems as though everybody and their mom is lookin' too and they are snatchin' it up before I even see it hit the boards. Some have said that the less known name brands may not fit and are not drilled. So I found these and I wanted your thoughts on the whole unknown brand and if you guys have even heard of this one.

I know this seems to be a unpopular opinion, but the cheaper stuff is just that, cheap. Save your money and get some better quality stuff (Attack). It mounts up easier and has a much better finish and duability.

Again just my opinion.

First, its fiberglass... that means if the mold was decent, hopefully it wont have to be bent too far to stretch over the factory holes. And be careful, fiberglass is easy to repair but it will crack, especially with stress from misdrilled holes.

Attack sucks if you aren't riding a Kawi. I have an R6 with Attack and I still had to drill holes and the tail is only held together by the undertail.

Sharkskinz are a decent price for the quality.

Thanks guys, I kinda don't understand how companies make plastics but they don't fit on the bike and if they don't fit how would I get it to fit.

I was wondering if there was a little bias there when I looked up the brand but if John can come with a wicked discount mine will be hanging on by the undertail too

You can always call Patrick at Motorcycles Unlimited, and see what he has available
(281) 444-0545 as well.

I just got my hands on some "Formula 1" bodywork, and it was even crash tested shortly after I evaluated it! Sorry Jeff 'ol buddy!

For $380 to your door, it fit well, was constructed well, and had a nice finish that didn't (before it was crash tested) need much prep to get it painted. They also have bodywork for almost every bike, even '08 models.

It is much nicer looking that the stuff Larry is selling, and it costs about the same. Honestly, when you get the cheap stuff, it's all pretty much the same- some are a bit different than others, but not much.

Sharkskinz lately has fallen off the mark, and they cost about $1k. They really cake on the filler primer, and the fit has not been as good as it was in the past.

Attack is clearly the superior product on the market right now, and it costs about $300 less (retail) than Sharkskinz do! I have NEVER had a set of Attack that didn't fit perfectly, first time, every time. Simply drill the dimples with a step drill bit and bolt 'em on.

Getting with Patrick at Motorcycles Unlimited is the only way to fly. See if he can get you the F1 bodywork- he may even be able to get you a better price than $380 shipped! Otherwise, you CAN'T go wrong with Attack, PM me if you want more information about the fit/ finish/ construction of Attack bodywork. Motorcycles Unlimited is the only place to order Attack or any other bodywork!
