Question D&D on gsx-r 600 ?

I heard one of these and I really liked the way it sounded, but it was really loud. I thought that it would still be good, but after i talked with a guy at my local suzuki shop, he said he had one and had to take it off because it was so loud. Is it really that bad? And if it is, what is a good substitution? I know yoshi is good, but are really paying for the name, IMO. Got any suggestions? Thanks

if you want loud go with d&d... if you want the best in performance - get something that you can eventually work your way towards a full system with... i.e., yosh, akra, graves... tons of others... hth...

D&D is hit or miss. Mine came with the bike ('02 ZX-6R) when I bought it and I've been told by others that it sounds good as I passed WOT. It is very loud though and I wont go anywhere without earplugs. Also sucks when splitting lanes, I usually put the bike in 2nd to keep the revs low so as to not draw the ire of off cagers.

I have heard a D&D on a gixxer 600 and it sounded terrible. Tinny, raspy, loud...in a word, nasty. I wouldnt get one again. Akra would be my pick, but you should peruse GSX-R boards and get more opinions before buying. Lots of choices out there, it would be good to whittle them down some by going with others' experiences.

If you want the loudest can on the block, that would be a D&D. Whether it sounds good or not, again, hit or miss.
