dude, they just redesigned the bike for the first time in over 20 years last year, you honestly think they were going to change it after only a year?? check back in 2028, maybe then it'll be different.

oh, actually...fuel injection may be coming this year or next. to comply with the ever increasing emissions standards coming in 2010.

The Dealer's conventions are typically in late September. There have been strong rumors of a FI 250.

I heard they won't have the Kawi Green color for 09, but other than that, it'll be the same bike.

I haven't seen anything on FI for the 250 and I don't really see a reason to go with FI on such a small bike. That would sum up the $500 price hype though. It would just add more wiring into the bike that's not needed. Maybe I'm just old school and like carbs.

i like carbs too, they are great for keeping me busy since so many people love to elt their bike sit for too long (as little as 2 weeks at times!) and their jets get gunked up by the ethanol and water in the gas then they have to come pay the place i work at to clean the carbs out. its too bad we sell so many fuel injected bikes that don't have that problem.

the US is the only market that the new 250 isn't fuel injected. the fuel injected bike starts up faster, makes more power, produces less emissions, and is more fuel efficient. if those aren't good reasons to go fuel injected, then i don't know what are.

I hate carb...first start is a pain.
Is it hard to convert a carb bike to a FI one? Expensive?
I have an 08 250R....09 better not be FI or i'll kick myself
