It's a nice bike and i am a honda fan! But to be honest, i bought a bike way over my head... I thought that i can handle the liter bike, i was never a fan of the standard preach about buying 250cc starter bike..

The problem for newbies like me with liter bikes isn't too much power, but the fact that my 954 is so finely tuned machine (compared to my old shadow) and it requires very precise input to all controls (not just the throttle) So i probably would have been better off on f4i.. but oh well... Its been 3k mountain twistie miles, almost 3 months, one lowside and one trackday... and i am still learning I am loving my experience on the fireblade but i can't help thinking that it could have been easier on a 600...

but, man, my bike looks totally hawt!!

yeah it was actually re-paved just a week before. it was very very smooth and very grippy too. experienced guys complained that it ate their tires too quickly (obviously not a big problem for a slow mover like me)...

Generally thunderhill and invineon are one of the smoothest tracks. I am going to another trackday tomorrow at Reno. That's supposed to be less smooth but good trackday provider - zoomzoom.

Oh and the prices - trackday at thill was $160 after all discounts and reno $125.

Of course I spent about 2 grand altogether if you take into account all the transportation, tires, fork seal job (I busted a seal) and etc. for the two trackdays. But im loving it!!!
