that is one year older than my first real street bike. i had an 87 nija 600. had 65 hp and would keep up with an 02 R6 from 0- 55 so yes, it's still pretty quick. tops out at an indicated 145 but was really 135 actual. I paid 1200 for mine with 24K miles, sold it for 1400 with 49K miles 18 months later. great starter bike, but kinda top heavy

Mine was geared down to the point that it would top at 110 (indicated). I had the F1 megaphone exhaust. That thing was LOUD! I dont remember the mileage on the thing.

Just tell her one 598cc bike + one 249cc bike is cheaper than going and buying one 998cc bike. Math doesnt lie!

I might try that one, and when I stop laughing I will explain that now she doesn't have to wait for the Ninjette to be hers and we can ride together......as soon as she completes MSF and gets a M class

So I asked him to tell me what he meant by needing an update and being sold as is....his response was the title is still in the prev owner's name....I responded asking if there are any mechanical issues he can tell me about large or small and asked if he has anything from the previous owner so that I would be able to get title work done w/ease.......keep your fingers crossed that I get a cash bike soon
