wonder how much of a step up it would actually be from the 250...maybe like a 350 or what

For a track bike, I would get race fairings. Those things are thick and heavy! Get rid of some weight up high, and it wouldn't be a bad handling bike.

Someone has to have some laying around in a warehouse, The things were the same from 85 until 90? You might actually be able to fit newer plastics than that on it.
