WAt up WAt up Houston..

I have to change my ecu computer on my bike and someone told me that it is no good to get a used one of any sort. I know a new one is better but why would i not want to buy a used one ??? Any advise??

If there are any differences w slip model years, etc its iffy; and you dont know the state of the used on. Russian roulette isn't a game I'd prefer to play.

And question; does a new ECU come w a warranty? that would be another plus.

Yes the new one comes with a warrenty but it is also $800 versus a used one at max could cost me $200 bucks... so i dont know.... They all over ebay...

its a toss up. if the product is good and matches your engine year/block id or whatever is required, hopefully its good. If not, you would be looking into an arbutration w ebay and that isn't ever fun...

Something like that, I'd buy new. But then again, at 200/pop for a used one, you have up to 4 chances of getting one that works!
