I got some logic pro sound canceling. you gotta jam all up in your ear by their design nature, so they stay pretty snug with mah helmet on. run me about $50.

That may be true. I've never worn earplugs, and my hearing seems to be getting worse year after year. I keep telling myself to start, but I just can't get out of the habit (of not wearing them).

I never realized how loud the wind noise was, until the 2 or 3 times I did wear an earplug.

I should edit this to say "I've hardly ever wore earplugs,..."

I wear Sony inner earbuds. I dont turn them up too loud, just enough to buffer the wind noise and hear the music. I can still hear what is going on around me.

I dont get it though, the fwry isnt that loud ive ridden a couple of times even with the visor up and its not too bad

maybe my helmet buffers it out good enough to where the engine or wind dont bother me

i use skull candy.....the $16 ones....i actually only have to use one...i can hear my music perfectly...and can also hear whats goin on around me out the other ear....they block wind noise pretty good...i saw where someone said they have to watch the helmet strap and i agree with that...but i bought the expensive ones and couldnt hear with only one in...

I have some JVC that have different size rubber plugs that go inside the ear; come with 3 different sizes. Decent sound and don't pull out when you put the helmet on. The best helmets don't filter out the wind noise, so please wear ear plugs at least to save your hearing. If I don't have the MP3 going, I use the cheap yellow EAR brand plugs.

You're going to love it. MAke sure you take your ipod or usb player and turn it all the way up. It is like a preamp for the stereo. Also make sure you go to the Valley of Fire. Decent twisties and AWESOME scenery. It will be the highlight of the trip unless you have a serious gambling problem.

Get ready for more debt you are going to want another Honda.
