Bike(s):
07' ninja 250

Have questions about different bikes!

Ok I am wanting to upgrade from my Ninja 250, but I have a couple of bikes in mind. Can anyone give me info from personal experience which model is best to upgrade to.

1. Yamaha 2008 YZF-R6
2. Kawasaki ZX-6R
3. Honda CBR600RR
4. Kawasaki ZZR600

Any info would help me greatly make my decision!

Thank you!!!

5. Gsxr 600

Seriously everyone is going to pretty much say what they own, just like I just did. Go out sit on them, try them if you can. You'll know which one you want.

How long have you been riding the ninja?

You're just gonna have to go to dealerships and sit down in all of them.

It'll help you bery little asking about people's personal preferrence.

That being said.....

R6 FTW!!!!

the 600rr is a good rounded bike.

personally, my next bike will likely be a 636.

go sit on em at the dealers. thats the best way to figure out what you feel comfortable one at least. Of the ones you listed I think the ZZR would be the best daily rider, as it has a more upright sitting position, though its a sport rather than super sport. It is also the cheapest of the listed bikes, and is the only carb'd one of those.

Depends on what kind of riding you plan on doing. are you loking at only 08 models or diff years? Are you going to be heading to the track? What kind of street riding(over 200 miles a day, flat or twisty..)?

More info please

If you think your ready to upgrade the most comfortable one for you would be the correct choice. The performance advantages/disadvantages are negligible because of your skills...

I would be driving it 30miles each way to get to work and home sometimes, but also want to have fun with it too and to be able to keep up with other riders and not struggle on the freeway like my ninja 250.

Well, if you ride to and from work then you are going to need a standard bike. You need more power than the 250 so you can either get the Ninja 500 or maybe the Suzuki GSX-650F or similar. Don't overlook the FZ6
Then, you need a bike to play on the street so you need a SS bike for that. You need to find the one that fits you best from your list. I personally like the Suzuki Gixxer b/c of the mid range torque compared to other bikes that I have ridden in the past.
Then, you need a track bike. I bought a SV-650 for that. Twins make good torque and you need that to stay a gear higher on corner exits.
Lastly, you need something for the dirt. You can't always stay on the street. Kawasaki makes a fine dirt bike and so does Yamaha and Honda.

That brings the count to four. You need four bikes not one. Then you have to add the wife's and the daughter's bikes to that and it brings the count up to six. Now I need a three car garage.

Just my $0.02 on differnt bikes.
