Power commander lll map

I just recently installed th PClll and there is no map for my setup but a few of them do come close but they are european maps. my question is will it hurt my bike to run European spec maps?

Running too lean can be dangerous so once you find a map that feels good and you aren't getting a lot of popping on deceleration you should have it dyno'd. You can usually get 3 pulls for around $20. All you want to know is the air fuel ratio. Make sure not too lean and around 13 with no dips and peaks.

Take it to be dyno tuned at a reputable shop. If you search "dyno" or something on this site you'll find LOTS of threads on the subject.

Downloaded maps rarely work "well", and you'll see tons of gains from getting a custom map to YOUR bike in our climate.

Euro gas is much different than ours, hence the "Euro" maps.
Typically it'll run way rich with that map.

Andy at Metric Motorcycles tuned mine. It is a vast improvement over the one I downloaded. Got rid of the 7K dip.
