we also did a baseline test with go! ninja go!'s 636... we could get a front reading on him at 1300 feet with nothing on the headlights.

cliff notes version:

We tested out to almost 2000 ft. Everytime I tried to clock him his V1 would go off. Without the veil spray I could clock his speed easily at 1100 feet. After the spray I could only clock him at around 600 - 700 feet. This gives him a minimum 500 feet of warning on the V1 before I can even clock his speed.

80 mph = 117 ft/sec

500 ft minimum / 117 ft/sec = 4.27 seconds of warning to slow down

radar and laser both use the doppler effect... radar is sound waves, laser is light pulses but work on the same priciple
