My son's bike for sale?

Hey guys this is my son's bike for sale in Fort Bragg NC. Take a look at it and tell me what you think about the bike and sale. It's making me crazy to see this bike up for sale and just sitting in a parking lot on base at Fort Bragg. It has about 1200 miles on it and is almost untouched with the execption of being dropped couple times.

I'm really thinking about going and getting it. Someone has offered him $5000 for it and that's all the offers he's had.

What do you think?

I'm really serious let me hear what your opinions are.

Remember it's about 1200 miles and about 18 hrs. of driving. That $700 worth of gas round trip, plus staying over night for probably for two nights.

You can have it shipped for less than $700 and don't spend all that time on the road. Of course, you also miss an opportunity to see your son before he leaves.

Then again, you could always get a cheap one way flight over and ride back.

Man I wouldn't mind riding it some, but I'm not riding that bike all the way back.

I'll get to see him right before he leaves he'll be coming home.

I need to find out what it would cost to ship it, maybe that would be the best way if it is cheaper.

Have him rent a trailer for the trip to you and have him bring the bike with him!

+1 on NOT riding that bike back, that would be a pain in the asss.... pun intended! Honda seats = concrete.

Yeah we talked about that but he'll only have about 2 weeks off and that will take up at least two days worth when he can just fly home in a few hours.

Good thought though.

If you want to borrow either one of my trailers, you got it; but I would have it shipped. I don't think it'll cost more than $700 to ship it.
