glad to have you in on the conversation Buck!! that's exactly what i was thinking, Rossi should be able to take it. i haven't done the math but with 6 races left, i guess rossi could come in 2nd IF, he finishes in 2nd and Stoner is able to quit crashing for 6 more wins but i think it is doubtful. with only 50 points between em, Rossi just needs to at least win one more race and continue on in 2nd for the rest of the year.

Does that math sound right?

Yes...

Debon really put Simoncelli in the grasps for Kallio with that last ditch effort.

Debon is a strange one, blows real hot and cold
I was gutted for Thomas Luthi, he looked well up for it.
I really expected more from Batista this year though.
Kallio backs a 250 in like no one else right now

Hardest pass of the weekend had to be between the 2 Rizzla Suzuki's in MotoGP

Rossi is the essense of cool. I mean ever before the last straight he looks back to make sure no one is there(like Buck ) then wheelies. How cool is that?

Can't wait to see win again. He is not only the best he has got personality.

Very charismatic (and Bill, they ALL wheelie...) no doubt. He is one of my favorite sports icons. He's a lot like Colin Edwards is with the people/ public/ other racers too. Very laid back, very cool and collected.

Bill, you should go to youtube and search for Colin Edwards. I think you'll like him as much or more than Rossi in respect to the things you're commenting on.

He's the type of sports figure that doesn't need any "help" to look good in the public. By the same token, he's had to be somewhat of a recluse because he is so wildly popular... it's a double edge sword. He can't go out in public, anywhere in Europe, without being mauled.

Plus he's a great stunter and can really show off his mad skillz after winning a race!

Yea, I like Colin too heck I even bought one of his helmets. Yea, they can all wheelie but Rossi wheelies even before the last straight.

when you're talking about finishing in style, Melandri's Australian win takes some beating IMO
look at the smoke off that rear, then the No 1 finger then the nod to the side
