Brno (spoiler)

Say it with me now, "Gibberneau Curse"...

Incredible!

Bridgestone really is dominating lately, especially at this track!

Holy Smokes!

Elias- WOW! Incredible race for him! He is really coming on strong. If it weren't for the mis-hap in Laguna, he may have had a much better result there too.

I'm really disappointed for the Michelin riders 'specially because there are two Americans riding them. Dovisioso was the only one who was able to tame that tire, and he wouldn't have done as well as he did if Hopper and Stoner wouldn't have had issues.

Just an incredible race watching Rossi real in Stoner, the fight for second, and then the fight for fifth too!

In the past, he's been able to keep the pace after getting out to a good start, I don't think this race would have been any different. If Rossi were able to catch him, then it would have been a good race- but I couldn't see Rossi catching him...

The world may know Rossi as the doctor, but I think Stoner might be calling him the proctologist.

Pretty good race. Elias came on strong!!! Would have liked to seen Rossi and Stoner duke it out again, but oh well. Glad to see Rossi take the win.

Rossi pulled 3 tenths on Stoner on the lap that Stoner crashed...

Rossi had a hard rear and Stoner had a medium rear... leads me to believe Rossi would have been able to keep a more consistent pace than Stoner. Either way, it would have been nice to see another good battle between the two.

Lap 1
1 2'02.282
46 2'03.424 1.142

Lap 2
1 1'57.379
46 1'57.454 1.217

Lap 3
1 1'57.468
46 1'57.548 1.297

Lap 4
1 1'57.379
46 1'57.388 1.306

Lap 5
1 1'57.199
46 1'57.232 1.339

Lap 6
1 1'57.521
46 1'57.228 1.046

Actually, the gap was increasing, he just messed up last lap. I may be wrong but i haven't seen tire degradation this season (stones), so i am with Tom, i think stoner was going to take this one but he messed up, stoner fastest laps come at the end. But like you said, it would have been a good battle

It sucked Stoner went out so early. I wanted to see them duke it out. And he had a good jump right from the start too.

+1.

Rossi had it in the bag.

There is a difference when a rider rides his "own" ride - compared to a rider "trying" to keep up/or catch up to another rider.

Sure the latter could be quicker a couple laps, but will he make it out to the end?

Rossi has the ablility to MENTALLY dominate the entire feild. He hasn't verbalized it yet, but you can bet he was thinking about putting the hex on Stoner after he cried about Laguna. That #1 plate is heavy as you can see how it is affecting Stoner, keeps losing the front from the extra weight. Rossi will get that 8th title this season unless the rest of the feild conspires to take him out........ even then he's gonna take the title. We are lucky to live in the Rossi era to witness such greatness. Sorry alrova, he's the best the sport has ever seen, probably will be for some time to come as his feats will be very difficult to surpass. Maybe Nicky will give him some fits if he rides for Ducati next season, but with Rossi signed on for two more years with Yami, look like the Rossi show through 2010.

Well said, I believe the people who witnessed Agostini feel the same way about him.
