I am terribly sorry to hear about your accident. I think jregsc, jerzy and I exited the exit before you guys. Rayford Sawdust I think. It was just too bad.

And to add a lil more irony...

On friday tiatool came to get my r6 and it started raining. I have bt002's, with a track day or two on em, and we both thought better of trying to ride in the rain. Little did we know that they would handle 10 inces of water at 30+mph.

Big props to the bt002rs! (and joe's skillz)

I really hate to be the typical "sue happy american" but I am thinking about it.....there was no standing water on the freeway, or the feeder, just on the off ramp for 30 or 45 feet, its ridiculous.....

yea...might check drainage laws. I think there is a specified amount of time allocated for water to drain before it is considered poor drainage.

I know in landscape if you have standing water for MORE than 24 hours after a rain, that is considered an issue.

Might ask a civil engineer...isn't that who designs freeways and whatnot?

Just meet you guys yesterday at Yankees. I was admiring your ZX-10. Sorry you guys went down. Glad didn't get hurt. I rode back with Chino down Hwy 6 to 290 East. There wasn't any rain. Holla.

Sorry to hear about this, but glad you came out ok (considering).

as far as a lawsuit is concerned, the highways belong to TxDOT, not the COH; however, flooding could be due to a multitude of factors, including and associated with population growth and over-development. Good luck in finding who's to blame.
