I think my wife is gonna do it like that this year, cajun deep fried. Never liked turkey, too dry, but when it's fried, it's juicier.

I ussually fry up 2 to 3 birds each Thanksgiving. It's the only way I like them now.

Im sorta skeptical about my wife doing it cuz she's never done it either. Especially seeing demonstrations of what could go wrong when deep frying the bird....

couple years back i was talkin wit dis straightup coonass from neworleans out in galveston while fishing... he told me da best way to cookem was deepfry in coca-cola/brown sugar/tony cacheres misture. puts a sweet spicy glaze over da bird... never tried it, sounds interesting tho

my bad... it was the marinade that he injected into turkey before frying. use coke instead of water.

That makes sense.
But you do need to rub the bird down REALLY good with Tony's.
Makes for a nice crispy outter layer
