*crosses fingers for a dry race*

I look for Vermolen to do well despite not qualifying "great". He may be the only one I can predict that might be able to run with Stoner in the rain.

Can't wait for the race!

BTW, nice text Alrova...

With Hopper the Long-Time Bust in 3rd, it shows you just how much rain changes everything. When the race goes off in the dry, we'll return to homeostasis as we know it.

The other Yamahas are at the bottom because they are riding sweeper and you know you always put the most experienced guys back there.

It can't be the bike, look where Rossi is at

Course the MAIN MAN is quietly tucked away in 2nd (after qualifying)

Casey Moaner reminds me of Foggy,
yea I'm ill,
bike ran on one cylinder after 2 laps,
rear tyre moved on the rim after 3,
delaminated after 4,
cramp in my right arm,
right brake disc warped after 8,
mechanic put diesel in instead of gas,
but I STILL won by 7 seconds

Bridgestones killed 'em all at the last wet race too- Edwards was very vocal then about his Michelins. He's not very quiet about them now either...

Very funny interview on motogp.com with him re: tires.

They all do this. If a front runner runs crappy in qualifying, they are sick. Once in a while, however, you won't know they were sick until after the race when the winner will say from the press conference, "I'm lucky. I didn't think I would make this race. I had the flu all week and..."

I've tried this at my [club] races and all I hear is howling laughter.

Toseland and Lorenzo are being allowed to race despite qualifying outside the 107% cutoff due to the exceptional weather conditions .
Perhaps to spare Michelin any further embarrassment I'm thinking.
