Not OEM, from Hong Kong, so very flimsy plastic used. Not recommended. I have had 2 friends buy from HK, and while they look good, you may have some trouble mounting, and as said before, the material is quite brittle. Although, Azylum has ordered his from HK and seems very happy with his purchase.

And his bike looks fawking sweet.

You could look into

http://www.decalfx.com/motorcycle_graphics.html

A vynl graphics kit. Or do you need a new set of plastics?

Anyone know someone that bought some "bad" fairings from auctmarts, or are they the only ebay store selling fairings from HK?

the only complaint ive ever heard wasnt quality, but fitment. alot of people have had to break out the 'ol drummel and go to work. but then again, you get what you pay for. aftermarket prices vs OEM. if i had found a used set of OEM fairings as cheap as these i would have jumped all over them, but they just dont exist.

A friend of mine who had them cracked his tail section when his friend accidentally kneed the corner piece getting on the bike. That is what I mean by flimsy/brittle. Get what you want. They will look great, might take some work to fit, but will, just the quality of the actual material IS NOT BY ANY MEANS OEM QUALITY.

You might have to wait a bit for them also, I have heard of some stories.

I have seen Azylums and Tims (pigpen). Azylums bike looks awesome and all I have heard are rave reviews from him.

Tim's bike looked good, a zx12, but he said that his required alot of modification. Maybe the have more practice with the gixxa sixxa since evry poser owns one.

well it will never be oem Quality.. it's fiberglass, which is thinner and more brittle then ABS plastic, so over a long period of riding it will spiderweb the paint.

it'll happen to Azylum eventually, it happened to my f4i after a year on 1 part i replaced.

actually, the hong kong kits are abs plastic, but they are thinner and less flexible than the oem stuff, so they crack easier. i've heard mixed reviews. i think it really depends on the bike. some of their molds are pretty good, other's are pretty crappy. it's a crapshoot if you ask me.
