Posers

I saw a brand new '06 GSXR 1000 today, then I saw the rider. T-shirt and gym shorts no gear at all, not even a helm. Then the busa riding with him had his helm locked up on the compartment. Maybe they read moto houston....get some gear please you make us look bad. :BangHead:

Yea i used to care but now when i see it things like that it just makes me laugh thereís nothing you can do for them...You know if they go down there going to get up... I hope they don die i would never wish that on somebody but if your going to ride some thing as dangerous a bike especially a ss bike and your not going to where any type of gear then you will get whatís coming to you in time....

drives me crazy. i could barely afford my old school bike, and im getting some good gear as soon as my budget allows. these guys can drop 6-10 g's on a bike, and dont even buy the right equipment to go with it...

worse yet, its not like when mom told you to wear some day-glo nerf helmet when you learned to bicycle. sportsbike gear looks great while protecting you...i dont know why people would have an aversion to wearing some of the coolest looking around...

well, tight cut shirts show off your lame tribal tattoos these guys had, looking for chics I guess. But I asked my girl (who rides and always wear full geas as well) if she would be impressed by these guys, she said she would laugh if they even looked in her direction. !

I totaly agree man.... But some people think it looks cooler to have it in a closet or hanging from the side of there bike. Whats not going to look cooler is when there brain is laying in the street somewhere or they are covered in road rash and have to have somebody whipe there for them...

When I finish paying off the 6 I want a new R1 only to pose on. I'll go out and buy the tightest most expensive gear and I will go to the pps everyday and night to look as cool as possible. And when you guys need girls I will give them to you because I will have all of them because I will be the best poser in the world. :icon_bigg :icon_bigg

did u go to the rally in gtown? if not the squids were out in full force, very few sportbike riders had full gear on, the style seem to be shorts, tshirt and the helmet as a frame slider. man they looked soooo cool.

wernt me. Thursday night at the lonestar rally my daughters bfriend show up with his new 06 gixer 1000.
He rode my busa and i rode his gix up to the seawall. Nice bike.
Didn't feel any differant on the hands wise but big differance in the weight and length tho. I can see myself gettin into some trouble with that bike
can't wait to take it for a longer spin.
we both had our jacket and lids on
