Unhappy ANOTHER KILLED

Houston man killed in motorcycle accident on state Highway 7
The body of a Houston man, who apparently died in a single vehicle accident on state Highway 7, was discovered early Saturday by a passing motorist.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Zachary Shane Adcox, 27, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident two-tenths of a mile west of Ratliff City.
The accident is believed to have happened some time between 6 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday.
According to the patrol, Adcox was eastbound on a 2002 Honda Motorcycle. He ran off the road and hit a culvert. The motorcycle rolled end over end, ejecting Adcox. The cause of the crash is listed as unsafe speed. Adcox was not wearing a helmet.
The accident was investigated by Trooper Heath Green. He was assisted by Trooper Jay Clary and 2nd Lt. Don Westbrook, Carter County Sheriff's Department deputies and Ratliff City Fire Department and First Responders.

This guy worked for me for about 8 mos. He left back in July......SAD

I would think there would be more reports of biker fatalities with the Lone Star Rally happening. No news is, indeed, good news.

Sad news indeed. I'm stunned by the writers and how much they know about bikes and riding in general. How does one get "ejected" from a motorcycle? According to the writer this guy must hit the ejection button as he lost control of his bike.

dotcom is right, helmets are a must, and everyone should make getting the right gear (jackets, gloves, etc) a high priority, especially if your going to ride aggresivley.

and this brings up another good point. riding alone aggresivly should be avoided. we should all try to use at least a "buddy" system, at least that way there is someone who can help. yet another reason to save it for track day...EMT's allready on the scene.

on anothe note, i think it sucks that they have no clue what happened, but just chalked it up to unsafe speed. he could have been run off the road, or maybe it was just a plain accident. but no, they have to assume...

He was riding a Shadow Sabre 1100. He had only been riding for around a year. He bought the bike last December.
He was a country singer. Apparently, he just had left a gig and was on his way home. It was deffinetly late at night. But, you're right, no one will ever know.
Check out this link, it is of his band. Turns out he was really quite talented...
